Title: Software Engineer

Location: Reston, VA

comScore is looking for a highly motivated person to fill an important role on our Survey Technology team in Reston, VA. In this role you will exercise your expertise in the software development lifecycle through analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of this system.


  • Responsible for the design and development of enterprise-scale systems.

  • Participate in the requirements gathering, design and development of new systems to be incorporated into and improve the existing processing environment

  • Develop enhancements to current solutions

  • Participate in ongoing research and evaluation of new related technologies

  • Exercise your expertise in the software development lifecycle through analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of this system

  • Collaborate with 3-4 team members to identify and implement project solutions


  • Study in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field

  • Ability to develop solutions in .Net (VB.Net/C#) and or C++ that run in a either the Windows or Linux environments

  • Skills with SQL, Java, JavaScript, HTML, Hadoop, and Python are a PLUS

  • Excellent oral, written and computer communication skills with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. The nature of the teams dynamics will require an individual that is able to work closely in a collaborative role with other team members, as well as complete tasks individually as assigned
